Architectural Technician / Technologist
Salary £25-35,000 depending on experience
Contract: Full time, Permanent
An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Architectural Technician or Technologist to join our architectural team. We are looking for someone who is a highly motivated team player, focused on attention to detail, with strong communication skills and excellent organisational and time management skills. The successful candidate will gain experience in a multi-disciplinary office and will have the opportunity to work with a fully qualified Architect, our Town Planners and Landscape Architect.
Current projects include a range of housing developments, barn conversions, holiday parks, commercial developments, Listed Buildings and agricultural developments of varying complexity.
Training & Professional Development
We encourage our staff to develop their personal and professional skills, as well as seek membership of professional bodies such as CIAT. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be directly involved in a range of schemes and will be expected to undertake continued professional development.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should have post-qualification experience;
Proficient in AutoCAD;
Good presentation skills, experience of managing projects and liaising with consultants and clients;
Sound and well-rounded knowledge of UK Building Regulations;
Experience of preparing planning, building regulation and construction packages; and
Able to work on your own initiative with strong problem-solving skills.
Candidates must have excellent verbal and written English and be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.

The post will be based at our office in Helpringham, Lincolnshire close to the historic and vibrant City of Lincoln and the Lincolnshire Wolds Outstanding Area of Natural Beauty. Our working hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and an early finish of 4.30pm on Fridays.

Town Planning Consultant
Contract: Full time, Permanent
We are looking for a town planning consultant to join our team of Town Planners, Architect, Architectural Technologists and Landscape Architect to work on a variety of projects from residential development to tourism schemes and from renewable energy proposals to urban extensions. The work includes feasibility studies, planning applications, planning appeals and local plan representations.
The post would suit an enthusiastic town planner who is, or will be eligible to be, a Chartered Town Planner with experience of the planning system looking for a challenging career in the private sector.
