Projects completed include detailed planning proposals for both public and private sector
organisations; preparation and submission of planning appeals; appearance as expert witness at
Public Inquiry; appearance at Local Plan Public Inquiry as both advocate and expert witness;
planning research for a wide variety of projects and negotiation with planning authorities.
Robbie has presented seminars and presentations on the Town Planning system to local authority
enforcement officers, local ecologists and also to the School of Urban Planning and Public
Affairs at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, USA, and he chaired a Royal Town Planning
Institute conference on Development Planning in Manchester.
Since joining RDC in 2002, Lewis has been involved in a range of different planning projects
including obtaining planning permission for residential proposals, listed building/conservation
projects, tourism/recreation schemes and many commercial projects. He has also negotiated 106
contributions, undertaken appeals, been involved in rural diversification issues and acted as
an expert witness at Local Inquiries.
Lewis is a keen fisherman and enjoys watching motorsport both in the UK and abroad.

Project experience includes project management and co-ordination of a wide range of urban and
rural projects from inception to completion on site, project development and funding
applications, and community regeneration projects. She has considerable experience in
negotiation and developing projects with external organisations, and much of her work in the
Nottinghamshire Regeneration Areas involved a high level of public and community consultation.
Wendy is also experienced in carrying out Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment work for a
range of developments and clients.
As the Principal Landscape Architect at the Robert Doughty Consultancy, Wendy's role is to
manage and deliver a high quality landscape services and projects.
Glynne also specialises in hand-drawn concept sketches to assist clients, the Planning Authority
and other parties to visualise the proposal.
Outside work, Glynne is a successful artist with his own unique style.

James undertakes Building Regulations applications from initial design to full plans approval,
prepares design sheets, working drawings, and has some experience in domestic timber frame
construction.
In his spare time, James enjoys fishing and is an amateur motor mechanic.
