Landscape Architecture

As landscape architects, we identify and solve problems using design techniques based on a full understanding of the external environment, knowledge of the functional and aesthetic characteristics of landscape materials, and of the organisation of landscape elements, external spaces and activities.

We provide a comprehensive landscape design service

We provide a comprehensive landscape design service, including masterplanning, the design of urban spaces, housing layouts and integral areas of public open space, sports and recreation facilities, rural and countryside schemes, and landscape management. We also produce and co-ordinate Environmental Impact Assessment, prepare evidence for Public Inquiries and act as Expert Witness.

Our Landscape Work

Our work ranges from the design of civic spaces to housing layouts and individual garden design, the design of sports and recreation facilities, rural and countryside schemes, as well as the production and co-ordination of Environmental Impact Assessments.  Projects undertaken range in scale and complexity from large scale mixed-use masterplanning to detailed planning schemes and specifications to long-term landscape management plans for complex sites, housing schemes and renewable energy schemes.

  • “Landscape architects bring knowledge of natural sciences, environmental law and planning policy. They lead teams, engage stakeholders and manage conflicting demands. ”

  • “In light of yesterday's approval for Saxilby, I wanted to thank you for your own substantial contribution to the positive outcome. You had clearly made a huge effort in preparing for the inquiry and also your performance at the inquiry was fantastic.”
